I watched the Grammy awards on the 15th of February 2009 in my room.
1. Chris Martin of “ Cold Play” won  best (male) vocalist for best album & best song of the year for Viva Lavida. They also performed the title song called Viva Lavida
2. Katie Perry won for best (female ) album & best song of the year for I Kissed the girl.
3. Robert Plant & Alison Kraus (duet) won for best song & album of the year.
4. Leona Lewis won (female) best song & album of the year for Bleeding Love.

1. Danny Boyle won 8 Oscar awards best director for Slumdog Millionaire,
best picture, best adapted screenplay, best sound mixing, best original song, best original score, best film editing & best cinematography.
2. Sean Penn won  best actor for Milk
3. Health Leger’s won a supporting best actor for The Dark Night.
4. Kate Winslet won best actress for The Reader.
5. Penelope Cruz won the best supporting actress for Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
