THE MEANING OF INCLUSION AS A PASSION FOR EXPRESSION

Again this year we present a forum for talented artists who work in a myriad of mediums, and whose work is filtered through their creative minds. Since its inception Mainstream’s Art Show for BC Persons with Developmental Disabilities has been an amazing journey for its organizers and a beautiful window on the constellation of perceptions, colour and perspective of the exhibitors. At once, when you attend this show, you see it is much more than on or two dimensional images for you to consider. It is an artists’ sanctuary where thoughts have traveled from a man or woman’s creative mind, to their heart, and then to their skilled hands.

Attend this year’s show, and make no mistake, it won’t just be any old night out. The art will be provocative, the music transcendant and the food and wine sumptuous.
