INTRODUCING PAULA ANDERSON, OUR NEW TEAM LEADER
 |
 |
Paula Anderson comes to MAPCL with 11 years experience in the community living sector. Paula’s many passions include celebrating each person's differences through their communication styles. Paula’s immediate family consists of a 35 year old son and 2 cute and cuddly grandkids. As a two time cancer survivor, Paula’s charity of choice is Breast Cancer. Through her Team Breast Friends and the weekend to End Breast Cancer 60 KM Walks, Paula and her teammates have raised over $40,000 since August 2004, to help find a cure for this dreaded disease. The upside of cancer is that she wouldn’t have seen other countries and met the most dedicated and inspiring people, without it. All the hours away training, fundraising and actually walking wouldn’t be possible without the support of her loving husband Wayne and the rest of her family. To know Paula can be summed up in a couple of her many one liners, “I walk because I can’t walk away.” and “Life is too short, buy the shoes.” For those of you that may remember the lady dishing up hamburgers at the MAPCL BBQ, that was Paula.
