MAPCL’S 2007 ART SHOW IS LOOKING
LIKE IT WILL BE A GREAT SUCCESS!!!

Take a look around your house.  Look at the bare space on the walls, empty shelves and lack of colour.  Do you want to make your house a home?  Come out to MAPCL’s 3rd Annual Art Show and incorporate some Community Living Colour in to your life!

So far we have received 67 submissions for varying artists around the Lower Mainland, and we know there are a lot more on the way.  We have woodcarvings, original paintings, rug art, fabric art, native blanket wall hangings, photographs, button blankets, and more!  Some are for sale, and some are just for show.

We are very excited to be able to host the third annual MAPCL Art Show on Thursday, October 18 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  It’s going to be held at Heritage Hall, located at 3102 Main Street in Vancouver.  Many hands have been involved in ensuring this night will be a great success. Admission is free so please come out and support these wonderful artists.

If you are an artist with a developmental disability and are interested in submitting your work to the show, please check out our web site at http://www.mapcl.org/artshow/.  The registration form contains all of the information you need, including where to submit, and what needs to accompany your registration form.  The deadline for submissions is Oct 2nd so don’t delay!!

We look forward to celebrating Community Living month at the Art Show as we recognize some of the province’s budding artists!
