Frontiers Summer Picnic at Trout Lake
September 8th 2006

The annual Frontiers picnic was a resounding success again this year. The weather was beautiful, the sun was shining and everyone was excited to be there, especially when the BBQ’s were fired up and the smell of cooking hotdogs wafted across the green fields.

Once the basic needs of food and drink were satisfied some of the guys and staff were up to the challenge of a Scavenger Hunt. Several teams headed off into the ‘wilds’ of Trout Lake Park to pick up the items required.

Other teams played lawn darts, frisbee and football.

Some of the more energetic staff and individuals participated in a running water balloon fight with the participants ending up ‘cooling down’.

The day went very well and I’m sure that I speak for all who attended in saying a big thank-you to the staff who put so much effort and time into organizing the event.

Well Done!
