The LADYBUG ART GARDEN
OPEN HOUSE

On September 18 the Ladybug Art Garden hosted its first Open House. Guests were graciously greeted upon arrival by our “host with the most”, Jordan Cattermole and received a tour from the participants who were involved with the production of the Lady Bug Art Garden.
Art destined for the Annual Art Show was tastefully displayed on the fence over looking the garden. Beautiful mosaics among the flower planters and boxes complemented the garden. A benched trellis with cone shaped planters provided a cozy sitting area and the arched trellises at either end of the garden framed the display nicely laced with twinkle lights.

Blessed with good weather, an excellent turn out and an amazing lunch the event proved to be a success.
This particular garden is a display of the creative efforts of what we are now offering in the way of portable gardens. Collectively we demonstrated how a platform of weedy old brick could be transformed into a work of art. The Ladybug Art Garden looks forward to continued success in spreading art, color and beauty through out the community while providing employment opportunities for persons served.
