THE ROYAL SEASON

This past month, "the Royalty from the Palace" , otherwise know as: Wally, Kandy, Bill and Donna of Buckingham House, along with their "Royal Subjects" otherwise known as ; their staff, packed up the van and cars , said goodbye to the regular routine of life, and enjoyed a week's vacation in White Rock, moving into a lovely motel right on the beach! This was away from home but close enough for any staff who desired, to participate, making this an all out Buckingham vacation.

Sometimes the best place to vacation is right in your own back yard. Long walks along the waterfront, watching storms and sunsets, staying up late, shopping at interesting stores, giving the staff a workout pushing wheelchairs up and down hills and on the grass at the Peace Arch Border Park, eating well,and just hanging out someplace new,made for a wonderful week away.

Hats off to the staff who worked so hard and made this a memorable successful time. Let's do it again sometime!!
