October 6th marked the ninth annual National Dress Down Day.  Dress Down Day is a fundraising event in support of the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.  

Mainstream’s head office employees took part in the fundraiser this year.  As an added incentive and since we already have Casual Fridays, we declared October 2nd to 6th to be Dress Down Week.  Staff donated money in exchange for the opportunity to wear jeans and other casual dress for the whole week. 

I’m happy to announce that we raised $525.00 in support of the cause.  Thank you to everyone who donated.  It was a fun week.  My only regret is that we seem to have inherited a pinkish tablecloth that I fear will surface again next year.  I won’t say who brought it in but the initials are JC…
