SOWING SEEDS AND REAPING DREAMS

Spring in every culture signals a sunlit beginning to new plans, resolutions and energy.

Sowing seeds can mean a lot of things. For our “life plan” it means making a plan and taking a first step.

Countless versions of the best way to move life along in the new direction you want to go are available.. We have the suggestions of friends, the evident patterns of our current existence which need to change, and self-help patter everywhere we turn.

A rigorous search for “method” has distilled into the following list:

1. Develop a time-limited plan for yourself..

2 Keep a positive attitude, so that you can be ready for new opportunities. Positive thinking heals your body and mind.

3. Give your employer your best service. Even if you’re underpaid, you’ll create a twofold bonus. First, you’ll increase your level of skill, and this can translate to a higher income later on. Second, you’ll win sufficient goodwill to attract the favor of your boss or a competitor. The more you give, the more you receive.

4. Continue to educate yourself. Knowledge is power, and power creates increased income.

5. Replace bad habits with good ones Try not to criticize others or hold grudges. Replace habits like watching bad television with reading.

6. Don’t leave for tomorrow what can be done today. Tomorrow will have its own demands. Progress means moving forward.

7. Contribute. Allocate some of what you earn to help others. The money may come back multiplied or it may give a deep sense of satisfaction.

8. Observe sound principles of health. Eat well, get enough sleep and move.

9. Listen to your dreams. Those you have at night, and those which whisper in your heart during the day. They may reveal to you a path of great joy.

10. Live with integrity so that regret does not overtake your daily reality.

The habits you begin with a first step, will go on to form the solid foundation and brickwork of the road ahead for you.

Lao Tse and other ancient scribes all say the same thing. Every journey starts with a first step. Every kindness begets kindness and every failure should form an object lesson for growth.

Here are the words of exceptional people, talking on the subject of beginnings, growth and change.
The message – start, stick to your plan and achieve takeoff and flight.
