WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS, THERE WILL YOUR HEART BE ALSO

In any number of spiritual texts we see a repetitive theme.  Spirit and thought can modify the physical plane we live on.

Our hearts contain the secrets of our innermost hopes and fears.  It is said that a man or woman of spirit can survive anything that the natural, spiritual or concrete world may throw at them.   This is because the focus of spiritual people on the ephemeral and inner energies they possess creates an ability to “background” the smoke screen  that possessions, avarice and ambition can manifest in our lives.

If our goal is not to attain to spirit, it can be, at least in part an effort to reach down into ourselves and find a place where joy, gentleness, peace and self-acceptance welcome us.

The howling wind, the uncertainties of daily living, relationships and the sea of choice that surrounds us are all reasons to connect with the strong anchor within. “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” tells us that choices and priorities plot our point on a spiritual graph and mark the notes on the score of our lives.

Where is your treasure, who is your treasure?  Keep it locked in the recesses of your subconscious or fail to identify it at your own peril.
