Fun Comers to Town
Vancouver and Richmond Launch Summer Pilots

Thanks to Variety the Childrens Charity, the CKNW Orphan’s Fund, The Vancouver Sun Children's Fund and the Vancouver Foundation our Summer Blast Summer Fun program will now offer opportunities to children in Richmond and Vancouver.

This year more kids + more activities + more fun
= a great summer holiday for many young people.

 

 

For the first time MAPCL is operating these programs in Vancouver and Richmond. Some of the incredible activities for this year include Waterama, designing clay artifacts at Crankpots, going swimming, cooking classes, away camping and special Aquarium visits.

No matter where you are, summer can comer to you. Access, friendships, inclusion, new past times and freedom are all part of the confidence-building and growth the Summer Blast program provides young people.

We wish every child were lucky enough to be part of this incredible program for young people with disability. In five large communities involved and with annual growth of the Summer Program we may well make it so.
