FOCUS ON SAFETY!
MAPCL ENTERS PARTNERSHIP WITH
WORKSAFE BC

The focus on safety program is a new initiative aimed at improving Health and Safety processes used by MAPCL. I am pleased to announce that MAPCL has been asked to participate in this initiative.

The program is a collaborative process between Worksafe BC and MAPCL and will include three phases. Phase one will include a review of our current systems. Phase two will be aimed at implementing solutions to improve systems. In phase three, we will conduct a final evaluation of the safety systems. All employees will play a role in this project and will be asked to participate in all phases.

Focusing more on the safety and health of our employees and persons served can only improve our services and our organizational performance.  It can yield many other benefits related to quality of services, productivity and employee wellness.  This will be an exciting project. I look forward to the beginning phase one in June!
