A NIGHT AT OUR BOARD TABLE

Few people are awarded the Order of the Italian Republic. This represents a knighthood which entitles the recipient to be referred to as Cavalieri.

Celso Boscariol was one of only three Italian Canadians awarded the Cavalierato at the Italian National Day celebrations. Celso Boscariol our Board Chair was honoured by ambassador Gabriele Sardo in a ceremony that featured timeless classics from the Italian Choir of British Columbia and The Vancouver Italian Folk Chorus — as well as a rousing performance by The Vancouver police pipe band.

Celso has served his community on a variety of high profile boards. He has served the Italian Community Centre as Board President, served on the Board of BACI’s foundation and is involved in countless cultural and charitable pursuits. He has beren at the vanguard of Federal Liberal Politics for over a decade and has been a mainstay of BC political activity. Added to this honour, Celso has also been named President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce.

Celso’s is a respected professional in his legal career, and his tireless work on behalf of others, never officially qualified him as a knight. We suspected all along that that was who Celso was, long before he received an official title. We congratulate him on his recent achievemernts and add our thanks for his generosity and kindness to MAPCL over his years of service.
