WE REMEMBER JOANIE McDADE

Joanie McDade
June 25 1944-December 15 2008
"Fly, fly do not fear
Don't waste a breath, don't shed a tear
Your heart is pure, your soul is free
Be on your way, don't wait for me
Above the universe you'll climb
On beyond the hands of time
The moon will rise, the sun will set
But I won't forget"
copyright Celine Dion records
Joanie said goodbye to us all last month, and for many of us she took a small piece of our hearts with her. Joanie had a fiery spirit, and a heart of gold.
She was generous, funny and a romantic, and she was an strong advocate for herself and her friends. She loved her pets like they were her children, she enjoyed over 15 years of marriage, and was a good friend to many people. She leaves behind friends and family who love her and are better for knowing her.

Sarah read a passage from the bible.
There were pictures of her on a table, flowers, food, and music. The memorial took place at Stage Door.
We will miss Joanie, but will remember the joy and enthusiasm she shared with us while we were in her company.
