LOVE IN A DANGEROUS TIME

If there ever was a time we needed love, to a person, it is now.  Somehow in treacherous or dangerous periods in the life of our planet, we need the absolute of love.

Our money, our possessions and our connectedness to social groups who are just that won’t fill the void that a lack of genuine fidelity and true emotion will.

Meeting the right person or keeping the right person is paramount in this difficult time in human history.

What is the secret to embracing what we need, and keeping it if we have found it?  Well, the truth is we need to expect it, welcome it and not bear suspicious of it.  Love has its own time, operates in its own way, and although we may not recognize it if it is not dressed up nicely, or speaking in an erudite way, love is love.

The nuances of courtship, and social matching sometime may seem a bit on the shallow side, but our best chance of achieving successful relationships and partnerships are our core beliefs.  Don’t pretend to be what you are not, and be clear about who you are.

I wish all of you this year an opportunity to open your heart to someone new, or the very important someone you are with and let them know that the world is brighter with them in it.  Just say, “Everything is better when I experience it with you.”

Romance and Valentines are exciting and sentimental.  Romance in the time of world chaos is best when it is tried and true.  If someone lets you use a coupon to pay for dinner, and says you look great in our Yak Trak winter cleats, that’s a winner.  A little chocolate is just fine too.
