Unacceptable Waitlists

Q. What is the current status on waitlists for respite services in BC?

A. The Victoria Times Colonist recently reported that, “Advocacy groups say that more than 2,000 adults and hundreds of special-needs children are waiting for help and that increasing numbers of families are slipping into crisis.”  Cindy Chapman of the B.C.
