THE SUN RISING IN YOUR HEART

There are moments when we experience unspeakable joy. A homecoming, a triumph, overwhelming love. Life is like a million twinkling lights, a thousand fragrant blossoms, and the sounds of the night or day are like the background soundtrack for any beautiful dream.

As a child I remember my brother returning from University, the cold snow sweeping into our hallway with him, and my unbounded joy reaching up to hug him. I always think of the Charlie Brown song “Happiness” The tag line is “Happiness is anyone and anything at all that’s loved by you.” Coming home after being away, seeing the one we love coming into view and the happiness we experience when spending time with our pets, friends, colleagues and beloved family members make up those transforming moments.
