NEW BEGINNINGS

In every culture the rites of spring, Easter and the first breath of new life are thought of as the wellspring of change.  The sun is brighter, and the chaos and hardship of hard weather and our resistance to the attendant planning and heavy burdens in the proceeding season make us heave a sigh of relief when Spring and Easter are around the corner.

In societies around the world life is refreshed and guided by the  lighter and optimistic view and a focus on starting.  The thing about starting is that as long as you do, something happens.  Starting is like turning on a projector and starting the film we want to see. Without a beginning there won’t be more.

In war, peace, creativity and personal growth, initiating action is the key to any worthwhile outcome.  We may see ourselves in a rut, we may believe that implacable roadblocks and old habits will make change and movement impossible. That is never true.  We are evolved creatures with a will to survive. Thriving factors in here, through our biochemical and genetic predisposition to formulate planning around fear, survival strategies, and protecting our progeny, there is a refined state we have achieved.  Thriving is truly loving what you have in your life, respecting and loving others and knowing that you are content. The ideal state of mind, and of grace is to be happy and to look forward to the next moment and the next hour.

What problem, fear or apparent threat can keep us from our destiny?  The temporal world is what we see. The deepest most profound action is borne of a moment of belief and a sightline that looks inward instead of outward at a world full of unsettled souls and conflicted hearts.

You can meet your future, shape your point of transition and wield your thoughts to clear the way for your “starting point”.  Begin today. Change is all of our destinies.

We will either find a way, or make one
