Do you want your own garden plot?
Are you interested in contributing to your community by planning and building new gardens in your neighborhood? Can You Dig It is proud to offer you this opportunity!
Can You Dig It invites individuals to create a food-growing garden at their house and to coordinate community gardens where the community can participate. Through participation in one of Can You Dig It inclusive gardens, gardeners and volunteers contribute to social inclusion, empowerment, giving back, in addition to have access to fresh organic produce for their families. In our gardens we grow food, and we cultivate relationships!
We are recruiting new gardeners for 13 of our community inclusive gardens, throughout the Lower Mainland.
Join us in the planning and building of the new community garden at 4410 Kaslo in Vancouver, right across the 29th Ave Skytrain station.
Please contact Cinthia at canyoudigit@posAbilities.ca to learn how to get a plot and get involved. Together, we can all plant a seed!
Visit www.posAbilities.ca for more information.
Looking forward to grow with you!

A series of gardening workshops at NSO Garden Hub
Rosemary has been putting together amazing workshops for her gardeners to learn the joys and secrets of organic backyard gardening. Workshops were open to all, and the information material produced for these workshops have been used in all the other gardens. Seeds saving, winterization, composting, organic diseases and pest control, soil structure and natural amenders were amongst the fascinating topics we have learned about through the season. Many thanks to Rosemary, our garden jester, to continue to enlighten us with her growing wisdom!
